119/365: bleeding hearts
two photos were not enough for me today. i needed three. wanted to show, to remember, the 10 hours of work i did. work. hard manual labor. the kind of labor i LOVE! love working with my body, out of my head. even dropped a screwdriver on my toe ... but not surprisingly, i bleed hearts!
thoroughly exhausted, fed and showered, i saw this postcard on my desk, and remembered, i am a woman. i am feminine, and girly. AND i like to sand and paint and hammer and heave and ho! and i love that i can do both.
the day after my 10-hour real work day, i got my legs waxed and a fab mani-pedi ... back to girldom in a big way!
